Australia is known to have the highest rates of skin cancer in the world.  It is estimated that 60% of Australians will be diagnosed with a skin cancer in their lifetime. 

You should have your skin checked annually.   If you have a mole or freckle and have noticed it has changed in size or colour, you should have it checked by your Doctor at once.   Your Doctor will advise you of the appropriate course of action.
